SENSATIONAL VALENTINE'S DAY WITHOUT THE PINK
PULLED FROM THE BEYONDTHERUNWAYS.COM ARCHIVES FEB 2015:
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re a last minute planner, I’ve got a few outfits that can inspire your VDay look. To mix it up a bit, I avoided pink and red in all my look recommendations; there are so many other colors that can make you stand out in a crowd of vibrant red!
In addition, here are a few cardinal rules when choosing a date outfit:
- Avoid vibrant, small patterns: they can be distracting!
- Remember that being comfortable in your outfit will allow for your remarkable personality to shine through (especially important to keep in mind for first dates!)
- Don’t be afraid to be adventurous with your style
- Keep accessories to a minimum
- When in doubt, keep it simple and choose something similar to my “no fuss” outfit, paired with a bold red lip
